Unveiled Aspirations was created to empower and inspire women to have the courage to “unveil” their goals, dreams and aspirations while removing fear and uncertainty and reaching for the stars! Unveiled Aspirations hosted its 5th Annual Women’s Empowerment conference this past July that was able to inspire, motivate and empower over 100 women! Chenica is currently the founder of #BoutThatMarriedLife marriage group, Vice President of the social group Sisters Influencing Change (SIC), a member of Wives On the Road to Destiny (WORD) and a recently selected Ambassadoll of the Black Doll philanthropy group to represent Galveston County and South Houston.  Chenica is an active member in the Galveston County community and surrounding areas where she volunteers her time with the Blue Santa program, Organizations Doing Things to Save Our Families/Communities, Bay Area Turning Point, and many other organizations.

Being in front of an audience is an everyday part of Chenica’s life. With over 25 years of stage experience, Chenica has been delighting audiences since the age of 18 with her very first performance in the “Sound of Music”.  Her most recent productions include the hit stage play, “Love and Fire” where she was blessed to have shared the stage with the incredible Charnele Brown (A Different World), Andre’ Pitre (Tyler Perry’s “I Don’t Want to Do Wrong) Cherie Johnson (Punky Brewster and Family Matters), Comedian J. Anthony Brown.  Chenica has also performed in many productions which include, “Girls Night Out”, “The Wealth of The Wicked, Part III”, “The Blood Still Works” , “The Wealth of The Wicked, Part IV” and "Can You Hear Me?".

Chenica began speaking and engaging audiences with her words over 15 years ago at various events to include women’s conferences and other church/community functions. Chenica’s engaging and fun personality allows her to easily connect with her audiences as she delivers content that they can use when they walk out the door.  This sought after speaker messages are always delivered with high energy that not only motivates and encourages; it ignites others to live their life to their full potential and destined greatness.

Chenica is also a choreographer and founded the dance group the “Specialites”. The “Specialites” have been afforded the opportunity to perform at the renowned Red Cat Jazz Café and various other events. The group focuses on empowering women to love “their bodies” at all sizes. She currently instructs a “Fit and Flirty” fitness class that focuses on women having fun and getting fit at the same time! When not instructing a class or working on the next scheduled event, Chenica provides private sessions for Bridal parties and Ladies Night Out events.

The philosophies that Chenica have learned through her own life lessons are the very ones that she teaches through her business. She instills those same values into her family which include her 3 beautiful children Marcus (21), Keaira (16) and Kyra (10) as well as her greatest supporter and the love of her life, her husband Mr. Mark Grant.

Chenica believes that with God all things are possible and without Him, she is nothing. Her favorite saying, “My life is not perfect but I am grateful that GOD allows me a new day, every day, full of new possibilities to be the best ME THAT I CAN BE”!
